Tanya joined AWC as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse
Midwife. Prior to that, she had been involved in nursing for more than 13 years. She began as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and then became a Family Nurse Practitioner.

As a L&D nurse she realized she enjoyed being part of a family’s first introduction to their baby and wanted to be more involved in that experience so she went on to get her post masters certificate as a Nurse Midwife.

Tanya has lived in Germany, Japan, Indonesia and of course the US.  She
is married and has three teenage children whom she adores. She and her family enjoy hiking, biking, berry picking, knitting, scrap booking, traveling, skate skiing and participating in triathlons.
